Last chance... Suffolk Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment Consultation
The Suffolk Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) consultation is still live - but only until the 13 July.
You’re invited to take part in the consultation.
What is the PNA and why does it matter?
Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Board is required to produce an assessment of pharmaceutical service in its area every three years. This is a statutory obligation under the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013. A draft document is now available via the link above.
The PNA is a report of the present needs for pharmaceutical services. It is used to identify any gaps in current services or improvements that could be made in future pharmaceutical service provision. As part of this process there must be a consultation period that is at least 60 days.
Who can take part?
We’re seeking views from anyone in Suffolk with an interest in pharmacy services: individuals, patients, and community groups. Your input will help shape the final PNA, due September 2025.
Consultation period
The consultation period runs from 12 May 2025 to 13 July 2025
