For a healthy pregnancy
The Suffolk Bloomin' and Suffolk Bloomin' Extra magazines have been put together to help mum, family and friends think about how they can bring up baby to be as happy and healthy as possible.
It's a really exciting time looking forward to the birth of a baby, whether you're the mum or dad-to-be, or even family and friends.
But as we all know babies don't come with a set of instructions, and especially if you're new to being a parent, it can all be a bit overwhelming.
So we hope these few pages will help get you started, and encourage you to be supportive to Mum and baby. As always, you can get more advice from your doctor, midwife, health visitor.

Have you seen the Suffolk Bloomin’ (Honest!) Guide to Breastfeeding?
If you have read the guide, we’d love to hear from you about how useful you find the magazine, or if you have any thoughts about how we could improve it.
If you are a parent or carer, please complete the survey here.
If you use the guide as a professional, please complete the survey here.
It will only take a couple of minutes to complete and your feedback will inform the way we create similar resources in future.
The Breastfeeding Suffolk app is built for mothers who are thinking about breastfeeding or have just given birth to their new-born baby. The app features helpful tools that allow mothers to read daily information cards related to their breastfeeding cycle, record child development milestones and track feed times.
The app also contains important contact details for local organisations and links to other helpful information such as children centres in their area through GPS, to ensure new mothers are up to date and informed throughout the full breastfeeding period.
