Supplementary Statement to Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Board’s Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment

The regulations state that Supplementary Statements can provide updates to the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment only in relation to changes in the availability of pharmaceutical services. Supplementary Statements cannot provide updates on pharmaceutical need. This can only be achieved through a review of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment. The following pharmaceutical services currently contained within the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment have been identified as needing updating. This updated information supersedes some of the original information within the PNA and should be read in conjunction with that document.
Change of ownership – commencement of trading
The following pharmacy has commenced trading after a change of ownership:
• Rainbow Pharmacy Ipswich Limited has taken over ownership of Rainbow Pharmacy, 289 Norwich Road, Ipswich, IP1 4BP.
The pharmacy will continue to trade as Rainbow Pharmacy. Effective date of commencement 1st October 2021.
No significant change relocation – commencement of trading
GM Graham Pharmacies Ltd, t/a North Street Pharmacy, 29 North Street, Sudbury, Suffolk, C10 1RB has relocated to:
• 80 North Street, Sudbury, Suffolk, C10 1RF
All pharmaceutical services remain the same and there will be no interruption in service provision. Confirmation of effective date of commencement as 5th October 2021.
